Oklahoma SIP: OK 252:100 Appendix A, SIP effective 2009-02-27 (OKd06) to 2016-01-04: Allowable Emissions for Incinerators with Capacities in Excess of 100 lbs/hr

Regulatory Text:
Oklahoma Administrative Code.  Title 252.  Department of Environmental Quality

Chapter 100.  Air Pollution Control (OAC 252:100)

APPENDIX A.  ALLOWABLE EMISSIONS FOR INCINERATORS WITH CAPACITIES OF 100 LBS/HR OR GREATER
As adopted in Oklahoma Register June 15, 1998 (15 Ok Reg 2591) effective June 25, 1998.
Approved by EPA December 29, 2008 (73 FR 79400) effective February 27, 2009 (OKd06).

(Appendix A is cited in 252:100-17-4.)

Appendix A is a log-log graph.  The graph is not included here because this software does not support graphics.  The horizontal X axis is REFUSE CHARGED, LB/HR with a log scale from 100 to 100,000.  The vertical Y axis is ALLOWABLE EMISSIONS OF PARTICULATES, LB/HR with a log scale from 0.1 to 100.  The table below gives the end points on the log-log graph.  A straight line on the log-log graph joins the two points.

End Points on Graph: A straight line joins the two points on the log-log graph.

X-axis
REFUSE CHARGED,
LB/HR
Y-axis
ALLOWABLE EMISSIONS
OF PARTICULATES, LB/HR
       100         0.4
   100,000        75.0

Allowable emission rate may be calculated using the following formula:

     Y = 0.01221X0.7577

     Where:

          X = refuse charged, lb/hr on an as-loaded basis.

          Y = allowable particulate matter emission rate, lb/hr.
