 (Approved as Rule 9.)

(Approved by EPA 01/27/82 (43 FR 03767) at 52.2270(c)(33) effective 03/29/82.)

33    (a) Any person owning or operating a source which emits air contaminants into the air of this state shall, upon request by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC or Commission) or the Executive Director, conduct sampling to determine the opacity, rate, composition, and/or concentration of such emissions.  Sampling shall be conducted at a frequency and within a period of time which are reasonable as specified by the Commission or Executive Director.  The sampling method shall be specified by the Commission or Executive Director and, further, the sampling shall be conducted so as to reflect with reasonable accuracy the above listed characteristics of such emissions.
