Tarps Approved for Use with Dimethyl Disulfide (DMDS) Products

Only the tarps listed here are acceptable for use with these soil fumigant pesticide products, as indicated on DMDS labels. Acceptance is based on EPA's review of testing these agricultural films for permeability to the active ingredient DMDS.

Tarps

Soil fumigant applications can qualify for buffer zone reduction credits if applicators use tarps that are highly impermeable to pesticide chemicals. There are special tarp requirements for the active ingredient dimethyl disulfide (DMDS).
