The NOFO does not include a requirement regarding Good Laboratory Practice certification for laboratories. However, if selected, the awarded applicant will be required to submit quality assurance documentation, including a demonstration of competency for all aspects of the project that include environmental data. Are we expected to provide freezer space for long-term storage of fish samples?
Page six of the NOFO says, "Applicants must also demonstrate how they will store sample extracts for the duration of the six-year agreement." Your project narrative should clearly describe how you will achieve that requirement.

EPA is accepting applications for this NOFO until 10:59 central time/11:59 PM Eastern on March 14, 2025. As stated on page 5 of the NOFO , selection under this NOFO is not a guarantee of future funding.

My organization has staff that collaborate with EPA GLNPO staff as part of another program. Are they able to participate in our submission to the Fish Monitoring Program?
An organization's or their staff's participation in another GLRI program does not, itself, disqualify them from participating in an application to the Fish Monitoring Program. However, any potential conflicts of interest should be communicated to the NOFO Administrative Lead and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
