Chemical Data Reporting

Chemical Data Reporting Byproduct and Recycling Scenarios

This document addresses a series of 18 industry scenarios and questions related to EPA’s Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule. The scenarios were provided to EPA by Bergeson and Campbell (B&C) for industry, in a document titled “Chemical Data Reporting (CDR): Case Studies for Byproduct/Recycling Reporting.” Originally written for the 2012 CDR, this document also applies to the 2016 CDR.

The primary goal of this document is to help the regulated community comply with the requirements of the CDR rule. This document does not substitute for that rule, nor is it a rule itself. It does not impose legally binding requirements on the regulated community or on the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
