Data Downloads

Envirofacts provides multiple ways to download EPA environmental data for analysis, reporting, and mapping. Use the tools below to build custom searches, export tabular data, or download geospatial files.

EZ Searches

EZ Searches allow users to quickly select commonly used data elements and download results in tabular or CSV format.

• Facility Registry Service (FRS) EZ Search – Build downloadable reports using key facility identification and location data from EPA’s Facility Registry Service.
• Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) EZ Search – Download TRI data on the manufacture, processing, management, and release of more than 650 toxic chemicals.

Custom Searches

Custom Searches provide advanced users with full access to available data elements for detailed querying and export.

• RadNet Customized Search – Create custom downloads of environmental radiation monitoring data collected through the RadNet network.
• TRI Customized Search – Build advanced, fully customized TRI queries and export results in tabular or CSV format.

Geospatial Downloads

The EPA Geospatial Data Access Project provides downloadable spatial data for facilities and sites subject to environmental regulation. Files are available for use in mapping, spatial analysis, and reporting applications.

• EPA Region Geospatial Files – Regional facility datasets provided in KML format.
• State-Level FRS CSV Downloads – Single CSV files containing key facility-level data for each U.S. state.
• Combined State FRS Downloads – Comprehensive state-level CSV collections including facility details, geospatial data, organizations, and classifications.

Other Datasets

• Access additional EPA datasets – Download datasets that may not be available through standard search tools, including Safer Choice, SDWIS, and ECHO data.
