The Service Provider Directory shares information on service and technology providers that can facilitate SF₆ emission reduction activities.

The following services are provided in the directory:

• SF₆ Recycling Equipment: SF₆ recycling equipment can recover and remove impurities from the gas, enabling its re-use and reducing the demand for new SF₆. These providers offer SF₆ recycling services, training and technology.
• Laser Leak Detection - Leak Detection Equipment/Services: Laser leak detection systems exploit the strong infrared absorption characteristics of SF₆, enabling the operator to identify even the smallest leaks at distances as great as 50 feet away without taking equipment out of service. These companies offer laser leak detection services and/or equipment.
• SF₆ Gas Monitoring, Measurement & Handling Services: Proper management and handling are critical to any successful emission reduction strategy. SF₆ gas suppliers offer SF₆ gas management and handling services for electric utilities. Some include SF₆ training on environmental awareness, gas cart operation and gas handling, as well as SF₆ management in the form of SF₆ inventory control, recycling, gas analysis, delivery and disposal.
• SF₆ Gas Equipment Leak Repair: Leak repair companies offer relatively quick solutions to stop leaks. Methods include various leak sealing techniques and compounds.
