How to Participate

The Electric Power Systems Partnership is strengthened by collaboration and industry participation. The examples below provide ways to get involved. Contact us about getting involved.

Share Best Practices

Companies are encouraged to develop an SF6 emissions reduction strategy, which involves creating an inventory of SF6-using equipment and estimating current emissions. After preparing the emissions reduction strategy, the company can then develop and implement a company-wide policy for managing the leak-rates of current equipment and to ensure the proper handling of SF6.

The partnership aims to be a collaborative effort between utilities and bring partners together to discuss and share useful information on strategies to reduce SF6 from the electric power system.

Participate in Resource Review

We value input from utilities on technical reports and materials developed by EPA. It is thanks to active members that the partnership can produce high quality, comprehensive and useful information.
