EPA Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) with ERP Compliant Coke, LLC
(Effective: August 2016): The Walter Coke facility located in North Birmingham was purchased by ERP Compliant Coke, LLC in February 2016 out of bankruptcy proceedings. As part of the bankruptcy settlement, the new owner assumed the environmental responsibilities identified in the 2012 RCRA 3008(h) Administrative Order on Consent Order with Walter Coke. In late 2016, the EPA issued a new RCRA 3008(h) Order to ERP Compliant Coke, LLC which mirrored the previous 2012 RCRA 3008(h) Order to Walter Coke.
