IRIS Progress Reports

In a series of reports, EPA provides updates on the IRIS Program and discusses progress toward implementing recommendations from the 2011 and 2014 reports by the National Research Council (NRC) for improving the development of IRIS assessments. The following progress reports were released in 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2018.

    This report is responsive to the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014, as detailed in the explanatory statement accompanying the Act that was released in the Congressional Record on January 15, 2014.

    This report is responsive to the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012, as detailed in House Report 112-331.
