How can I find the status of my firm application?
You will receive an email from lead.paint@epa.gov when your application is approved. The email will include PDF copies of your approval letter and certificate. Renovation firms will also receive a customized logo and guidelines for its use in the approval email. Applications are typically processed in two to three weeks. You will be contacted if an issue arises in the processing of your application.
Your certificate and customized logo are also sent to your CDX inbox, so if you don’t see the approval in your email check there. Just keep in mind it may take a week or two for the application to be approved.
You can also check the status of your firm certification application, download a copy of a recently issued certificate, or retrieve your customized logo online in your CDX inbox. To access this service, go to EPA's Central Data Exchange (CDX) and login using your CDX user ID and password. Once logged in go to the “Progress Tracker” section for your firm information.
