Encouraging Greener Cleanup Practices through Use of ASTM International's Standard Guide for Greener Cleanups

EPA recognizes the ASTM Standard Guide for Greener Cleanups (E2893) as a resource to reduce the environmental footprint of cleanups. Through this 2013 memorandum, EPA's regional offices and cleanup programs are encouraged to use the standard guide in efforts to implement greener cleanup practices.
