Ozone and Your Health: The Ozone and Your Health pamphlet covers who is at risk from exposure to ozone, what health effects are caused by ozone, and provides simple measures to reduce health risk.  

Smog - Who Does it Hurt?: The "Smog -- Who Does it Hurt?" booklet (pdf)(274 KB) provides more detailed information than "Ozone and Your Health" about ozone health effects and how to avoid them.
 

Air Quality Index - A Guide to Air Quality and Your Health: The "Air Quality Index - A Guide to Air Quality and Your Health" booklet (pdf) (629 KB) explains EPA's Air Quality Index and the health effects of major air pollutants.

AQI Forecasts: Your Advance Notification About Unhealthy Air: The AQI Forecasts: Your Advance Notification about Unhealthy Air" brochure (pdf) (3 MB) explains how to use the Air Quality Index, and how high levels of ozone and particle matter can affect your health. Learn where this pollution comes from and what you can do to protect yourself when air quality is poor.

Effects of Common Air Pollutants Medical Poster: The "Effects of Common Air Pollutants" medical poster (pdf) (888 KB) is designed for use in patient waiting areas or exam rooms to educate your patients about the health effects of air pollution on the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. You can also print out an 18x24 version of the Effects poster (pdf) (7.9 MB).

Heart Disease, Stroke, and Outdoor Air Pollution: Use the "Heart Disease, Stroke, and Outdoor Air Pollution" fact sheet (pdf) (325 KB) to increase awareness that air pollution can trigger heart attacks, stroke, and other health effects. It includes information about risk factors and warning signs for heart disease and stroke. 

Asthma and Outdoor Air Pollution: Use the "Asthma and Outdoor Air Pollution" fact sheet (pdf) (502 KB) to increase awareness that air pollution can make asthma symptoms worse and can trigger attacks in people with asthma. It also includes steps to take to protect health and reduce exposure.
