Notice of Data Availability - Preliminary Interstate Ozone Transport Modeling Data for the 2015 Ozone NAAQS

EPA has completed preliminary interstate ozone transport modeling relevant for the 2015 ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS). This information may help states develop “good neighbor” state implementation plans for the 2015 ozone air quality standards. The Clean Air Act’s “good neighbor” provision requires states to develop plans that ensure they do not contribute to downwind states’ failure to attain or maintain air quality standards. As part of a Notice of Data Availability (NODA), the Agency is providing an opportunity for public review of this modeling data, including projected ozone concentrations and contributions for 2023, as well as projected emissions, including emissions from the power sector, that were used for this modeling.  The EPA will accept comments until April 6, 2017.
