Chapter 13. Emission Standards for Particulate Matter

Subchapter A. General

Section 1301.  Emission Standards for Particulate Matter

§1301.A as recodified in the Louisiana Register LR 13:741 (December 20,1987), approved by EPA March 8,1989 (54 FR 09795) SIP effective May 8,1989 (current LAc49)
   A.  Purpose. The purpose of this Section shall be to limit the quantity of particulate matter emitted.

§1301.B as adopted in the Louisiana Register LR 14:348 (June 20,1988), approved by EPA June 15, 1989 (54 FR 25449) SIP effective August 14,1989 (LAc50) and non-regulatory correction published July 17, 1989 (54 FR 29825) SIP effective July 17, 1989 (LAc50)
   B.  Scope. This Section applies to any operation, process, or activity from which particulate matter is emitted except the wood pulping industry, the primary aluminum industry (horizontal stud Soderberg and prebake processes), and the burning of fuel for indirect heating in which the products of combustion do not come into direct contact with process materials.
