Peer Review of Two Draft Documents on a Proposed Approach for Cumulative Risk Assessment under TSCA
EPA held a virtual public meeting on May 8-11, 2023, for the Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) to consider and review two draft documents entitled: “Draft Proposed Principles of Cumulative Risk Assessment Under the Toxic Substances Control Act” and “Draft Proposed Approach for Cumulative Risk Assessment of High-Priority Phthalates and a Manufacturer Requested Phthalate Under the Toxic Substance Control Act.”
The two draft documents, charge questions, presentations, public comments and other meeting-related documents are currently available at regulations.gov under the docket EPA-HQ-OPPT-2022-0918 (see links below). The agency will consider the scientific advice, information and recommendations from the SACC, as well as public comments.
