Special Note: Upcoming TSCA Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals Meeting and the Government Shutdown

A continuing resolution for the EPA has been signed ending the Agency's shutdown. The TSCA SACC's Peer Review of the Draft Risk Evaluation for Pigment Violet 29 (PV29) will be rescheduled. The new meeting dates and location will be announced in the Federal Register (https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=EPA-HQ-OPPT-2018-0604) and on the TSCA SACC website (https://www.epa.gov/tsca-peer-review).

The Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) will provide independent scientific advice and recommendations to the EPA on the scientific basis for risk assessments, methodologies, and pollution prevention measures and approaches for chemicals regulated under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
