EPA approves planning for expedited cleanup of Benedict Park
In September 2025, EPA released an approval memo to begin an engineer evaluation/cost analysis for Benedict Park. This analysis will help decide whether a non-time critical removal action is warranted due to unacceptable risks to human health. EPA plans to share the engineering evaluation/cost analysis for public comment in Spring 2026. Read more in the document below.
