EPA Extends Comment Period on Proposed Risk Management Rule for C.I. Pigment Violet 29

To give commenters more time to provide input, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is extending the public comment period on the proposed risk management rule for C.I. Pigment Violet 29 (PV29) under the Toxic Substances Control Act.  

EPA released the proposed rule for PV 29 on Jan. 14, 2025, with a comment period that closes Feb. 28, 2025. The agency will soon publish a Federal Register notice extending the public comment period for an additional 60 days. Upon publication of the Federal Register notice extending the comment period, comments can be submitted to docket EPA-HQ-OPPT-2021-0277 on www.regulations.gov until April 29, 2025.
