Summary

EPA is currently conducting a Five-Year Review (FYR) of the Broderick Wood Products (BWP) Superfund Site, located off Lipan Street in Denver, Colorado. A wood treatment facility operated at the 64-acre site from 1947 to 1982. Historical operations and disposal practices contaminated soil and groundwater with hazardous chemicals. Following cleanup, operation and maintenance activities are ongoing.

EPA conducts these Five-Year Reviews to ensure that cleanups continue to protect public health and the environment. EPA interviews community members as part of the FYR process. Interviews will be conducted through March 31, 2026.
