Public Notice: Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program Notice of Final Permit and Response to Comments Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania; PAS2D041BBEA

Summary

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Mid-Atlantic Region (EPA), has issued a final permit to Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc. of Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania. This permit authorizes the operation of one (1) Class II- D disposal injection well, John Galey C-5 Well, located in Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Federal UIC Program Permit Appeal Procedures are specified at 40 C.F.R. § 124.19. For your convenience, the Region has attached a summary of the Appeal Procedures in this Public Notice.  The period for filing a petition for review of this permit begins on the day after EPA served notice of the issuance of the permit by email, which was May 21, 2026.
