Science Advisory Council for Exposure (ExpoSAC) Policy 3 Revised March 2021

This policy presents transfer coefficients (TC) for agricultural or commercial activities for use in post-application exposure assessments. ExpoSAC Policies 10 (Personal Protective Equipment Use by Post-application Workers) and 11 (Mechanized Agricultural Practices and Postapplication Exposure Assessments) should be referenced, as they may influence certain postapplication exposure assessments.

This policy reflects adoption of all Agricultural Reentry Exposure Task Force (ARTF) data as a result of a 1995 Data Call-In (DCI). Previous versions incorporated only data available at the time. The ARTF data and the development of transfer coefficients were reviewed in 2008 by the FIFRA SAP1. Use of the data in this policy requires compensation to the ARTF under FIFRA.
