Read Me: Oklahoma SIP-Approved Air Quality Control Regulations in this web site.

The Oklahoma regulations in this Oklahoma directory are what I have determined to be the Oklahoma State Implementation Plan (SIP) approved State regulations.  See OK SIP History record for more information.

These regulations are to be used as a supplement to, NOT as a replacement for, the regulations promulgated in the Federal Register and codified in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).  Due to the magnitude of the project, questions may arise on an approved section of the SIP.  If such questions arise as to the content of the approved SIP or any portion of the SIP, then the Federal Register approval action and the CFR will serve as the final determination.

The regulations in this compilation are broken out by entire subchapter or by sections of subchapters, depending upon the size of the unit and the nature of the regulation.

This compilation DOES NOT include the Oklahoma Official Motor Vehicle Inspection Rules and Regulations Manual approved by EPA at 40 CFR 52.1920(c)(39)(i)(F) and at 52.1920(c)(40)(i)(A) and revisions approved by EPA at 52.1920(c)(46).

Due to the magnitude and complexity of the project, there may be errors in the files.  Please notify me at one of the addresses below of any errors you find in the files.

I can answer general questions about the regulations.
I WILL NOT attempt to interpret regulations.

Information about the Oklahoma SIP regulations is given in a Federal Register rulemaking action published November 3, 1999 (64 FR 59629 to 59633) approving a recodification of the Oklahoma SIP-approved regulations.
