NWPR Federalism Consultation Materials

EPA is archiving material relevant to the Navigable Waters Protection Rule, including this page, to avoid confusion regarding more recent rulemaking efforts.

EPA, the Department of the Army, and the Army Corps of Engineers held an initial Federalism consultation briefing on April 19, 2017 for the proposed rule to define "waters of the United States." That presentation is representative of the presentations the agencies gave during the federalism consultation period.
