Background

Summary

The plan relies on control strategies needed to maintain attainment of the PM10 National Ambient Air Quality Standard ( NAAQS) for particulate matter. The strategy focuses on residential wood combustion, open burning, road dust from motor vehicles, and a major new source review program for industry.
