2021 Toxics Release Inventory National Analysis is Now Available in Spanish

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is releasing the Spanish-language version of the 2021 Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) National Analysis. This resource supports EPA’s commitment to transparency and promoting access to environmental data for all communities, regardless of race, color, national origin, or income.

The 2021 TRI National Analysis summarizes TRI chemical waste management activities, including environmental releases, that occurred during calendar year 2021. More than 21,000 facilities submitted TRI reporting forms for 531 chemicals that they released into the environment or otherwise managed as waste. EPA, states, and Tribes receive TRI data from facilities in sectors such as manufacturing, mining, electric utilities, and commercial hazardous waste management.

El Análisis Nacional del Inventario de Emisiones Tóxicas de 2021 está disponible ahora en español

La Agencia de Protección Ambiental de Estados Unidos (EPA, por sus siglas en inglés) está publicando la versión en español del Análisis Nacional del Inventario de Emisiones Tóxicas de 2021. Este recurso en español apoya el compromiso de la agencia hacia la transparencia y promueve el acceso a los datos ambientales para todas las comunidades independientemente de raza, color, origen nacional o ingresos.

El Análisis Nacional del TRI de 2021 resume las actividades relacionadas con el manejo de desperdicios de sustancias químicas en la lista del TRI, incluyendo las emisiones y descargas ambientales, que ocurrieron durante el año calendario del 2021. Más de 21,000 instalaciones presentaron informes al TRI sobre 531 sustancias químicas que fueron emitidas al medioambiente o manejadas de otra forma como desperdicios. La EPA, los estados y las tribus indígenas reciben datos del TRI de instalaciones en sectores como la manufactura, la minería, los servicios públicos de electricidad y el manejo de desechos peligrosos comerciales.
