Register for EPA’s Sept. 6 Webinar to Learn About Reviews of New PFAS

Released August 18, 2023

Join EPA’s New Chemicals Program on September 6 from 2-3 p.m. EDT for a webinar on EPA’s TSCA Framework for Addressing New PFAS and New Uses of PFAS. The Framework outlines EPA’s planned approach when reviewing new PFAS and new uses of existing PFAS to ensure that, if allowed to enter into commerce, they will not be harmful to human health and the environment. It supports the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to address the impacts of these forever chemicals, and advances EPA’s PFAS Strategic Roadmap to confront the human health and environmental risks of PFAS.

The Framework, which was announced in June, applies to new PFAS or new use notices that are currently under EPA review, as well as any that EPA receives in the future.

Register for this webinar and learn more about this important new approach to PFAS reviews.
