Voluntary Grant Program Data Tool
This tool offers the capability to query federal and non-federal funding spent and the total of schools and child care facilities tested for lead in drinking water. Queries are by EPA Region with the associated states. This information is updated on a rolling basis based on quarterly report submissions from the states. Program reporting data pending: American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
INSTRUCTIONS: To view data by EPA region, select the region(s) from the list and the data table will update based on your selections. To return to the National View (Reset Filters), click the blue button at the top of the dashboard. To see data, click the [+] icon next to the fiscal year in the data table.

Data Key:
Total Funding Spent: Total dollars spent using the federal allocated Voluntary School and Child Care Lead Testing and Reduction Grant program funding.
Total Non-Federal Funding Spent: Total dollars spent on implementing the program using funding from non-federal sources (e.g., state or private funds).
Total Number of Schools and Child Care Facilities Tested: The total number of schools and child care facilities tested for lead in drinking water via the Voluntary School and Child Care Lead Testing and Reduction Grant program.
Total Estimated Population Benefited by Testing: The total estimated population benefiting from the tested schools and child care facilities for lead in drinking water via the Voluntary School and Child Care Lead Testing and Reduction Grant program.
Data Source: Data includes the most up-to-date annual and quarterly progress reports. The program implementation status of each state varies. To view the lead test program status and information of an individual state, click here. Data is subject to change with new information.
