Rule Summary

The EPA is taking final action to relax the federal volatility (RVP) standard applicable to gasoline supplied to the Birmingham area from 7.8 pounds per square inch (psi) to 9.0 psi during the summer ozone season. The final action will be effective as of July 2, 2015.
