Public Comment Form on Proposed Partial Deletion of the Tippecanoe Sanitary Landfill Superfund Site

The Tippecanoe landfill accepted solid waste from residents, businesses, and industries in the area. Investigation of the site found contaminants in surface water, soil, landfill gas, leachate, and groundwater. Some of these contaminants included arsenic, benzopyrene (PAHs), manganese, and nitrates.

EPA published a Notice of Intent to Delete in the Federal Register and will accept public comment on the proposed deletion through Monday Sept 21, 2026.
