EPA is conducting a five-year review of the American Chemical Services Superfund site. The five-year review is an opportunity for you to tell the EPA about site conditions and any concerns you have.

Cleanup at the American Chemical Services Inc. site includes a subsurface barrier wall, groundwater pumping and treatment, soil vapor extraction, soil caps to prevent access to contaminated areas, off-site incineration of intact buried drums, and excavation and on-site consolidation of contaminated parts of adjacent wetlands. EPA also placed limits on the use and access of the site.
