EPA, in cooperation with the New Mexico Environment Department and the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department will provide updates and information regarding Chevron Questa Mine Superfund site. Attendees can view posters and ask questions one-on-one with stakeholders. Following the presentation, a question-and- answer session will be open to the public. Representatives from the New Mexico Department of Health will be available to discuss public health issues related to the Superfund site.

In addition, EPA representatives will share important details about the upcoming National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit notice. A public comment period for the NPDES permit will begin July 1, 2026.

  • Presentation, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
