Summary

EPA is proposing to modify the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Federal Aquaculture Facilities and Aquaculture Facilities Located in Indian Country in Washington (WAG130000). 

The draft modified general permit incorporates facility-specific conditions for Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery which will allow the facility to obtain coverage under the draft modified general permit. Additionally, the draft modified general permit proposes a modification to the chlorine monitoring requirements for all facilities covered under the general permit. 

A public notice for this action will be published in the Federal Register on August 14, 2026.
