Who issues NPDES permits in Region 7?

EPA Region 7 serves Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and nine tribal nations. The NPDES permitting authorities for states and tribes within Region 7 are listed below.

Iowa

EPA issues all NPDES permits on tribal lands in Iowa. The Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources issues all other permits.

Kansas

EPA issues all NPDES permits on tribal lands in Kansas. The Kansas Dept. of Health and Environment issues all other permits.
