In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as amended, the White Earth Nation is authorized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, to discharge from a treatment facility, operated by the White Earth Department of Public Works located at the White Earth Reservation, Clearwater County, Big Rice Lake, Minnesota (SE¼ of the NW 1/4, of Section 9, Township 145 N01ih, Range 38 West), designated as the Big Rice Lake Wastewater Lagoon, to an unnamed wetland that eventually flows to the Wild Rice River, in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions.
