18. Activities conducted that require the collection of observations, samples, or data in support of EPA’s mission are QA Field Activities.

19. The Graded Approach can be used to exclude required information from an organizations Quality Management Plan.

20. Once a QMP has been reviewed and approved in EPA’s Region 6, its expiration date is set at five years from the date of approval, unless a shorter period is specified.
