Yearly Reports of the ABSTC Compliance Assurance Program Submitted to EPA
Registrants of Bt corn are required to submit an annual report to EPA detailing activities conducted under the IRM Compliance Assurance Program (CAP). This information is compiled by the Agricultural Biotechnology Stewardship Technical Committee (ABSTC), a consortium of the Bt registrants. These CAP reports include data from grower surveys on refuge compliance and the results of on-farm assessments.
The table at the link below lists the CAP reports received by EPA to date. Individual studies are identified by MRID numbers. CAP reports were not formally submitted to EPA for some of the earlier years of the compliance program (2001 – 2004). In lieu of formal study reports, EPA has summarized the compliance data for those years in the Biopesticide Registration Action Document (BRAD) for Cry1Ab/Cry1F Bt corn (PDF).
