Download and Install Instructions for E-FAST - Exposure and Fate Assessment Screening Tool

Download and install  E-FAST 2014 Installation File (EXE) (exe) (27.47 MB)

The E-FAST installation program has been compressed into a single self-extracting executable file (27.4 MB in size). To install E-FAST on your system, complete the following instructions:

Download the E-FAST self-extracting executable file (EFAST2014Setup.2015.3.5.exe) to any directory of your choice.Run EFAST2014Setup.2015.3.5.exe and follow the user prompts throughout the setup process.

Notes for Installing and Running the Model Newer operating systems have new levels of security which cause programs to require an administrator level to install and run. Because of this, E-FAST2014 may not run if a user simply double-clicks the icon. However, if the user right-clicks on the program icon, and selects "run as administrator," the program runs normally. This is a simple work-around that can be done when using the model on an independent computer. The user also has the option of setting up the program during installation to always run as an administrator. If the user is working on a PC that is part of a network or has restricted access, the network administrator would need to have the individual PCs set up so that the program folder has administrator rights.
