Facility Name: CTV-1, 26R
Facility Address: Elk Hills Oil Field (approximately 20 miles west of Bakersfield, CA)

These permits authorize the operation of injection wells for geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2). The injection wells will be located within the Elk Hills Oil Field approximately 20 miles west of Bakersfield, California. Class VI wells are used to inject CO2 for long-term underground storage. These permits will remain in full force and effect during the operating life of the well and the post-injection site care period until site closure is authorized and completed.
