Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerator Communities

EPA is collaborating with state partners in a new water technical assistance (WaterTA) initiative called Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerators. EPA and four state partners—Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin— are working with 40 communities in 2023 to address existing barriers and accelerate progress towards LSL identification and replacement. The communities include: 

Connecticut

Pennsylvania

Griswold, Moosup Garden Apartments, New Britain, New London, Norwalk First Taxing District, Oakdale, Putnam, Regional Water Authority (New Haven/West Haven), South Norwalk, and Waterbury.

Derry, Downingtown, Freeland, Houtzdale, Jersey Shore, Somerset, Tamaqua, Telford, Titusville, and Williamstown.

New Jersey

Wisconsin

Aqua NJ - Blackwood, Camden, Clementon, East Newark, Harrison, Keansburg, Keyport, New Brunswick, Trenton, and Ventnor.

Beloit, Frederic, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, Racine, Superior, Wausau, West Allis, and Wisconsin Rapids
