What We Do

The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer is responsible for the Agency's strategic human capital work, consolidating data and analytics for EPA customers and better aligning employee developmental and professional experiences to agency culture, mission and purpose.

OCHCO focuses on promoting a supportive culture through a consistent employee experience, from entry to exit. This includes data driven decisions, executive resources management, human resource information technology systems, learning and development, performance management, policies, workforce planning and work/life integration.

OCHCO aligns its programs and initiatives in accordance with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s Human Capital Framework.
