Biofuels Webinar Series: TSCA Inventory, Nomenclature and Bona Fide Process

Released on March 7, 2022.

Join EPA’s New Chemicals Program on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Eastern Time to learn about the TSCA Inventory, nomenclature and Bona Fide process.

In January 2022, EPA announced an effort to streamline the review of new biobased or waste-derived chemicals that could displace current, higher greenhouse gas emitting transportation fuels.

To support this effort, EPA is offering outreach and training to stakeholders interested in biofuels. The bi-weekly webinar series includes reviewing TSCA requirements, outlining the streamlined approaches for risk assessments and risk management actions, and providing information on how to navigate the new chemicals PMN process.

In addition to Wednesday’s webinar, future webinars include:

  • March 23rd: New Chemicals Program risk assessments and applications of the tools and models
  • April 6th: New Chemicals Program risk management actions, TSCA section 5 orders and Significant New Use Rules (SNURs)

Register for this week's webinar.
