Join Jennie Romer, EPA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pollution Prevention, on May 8, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. ET, for the Reducing PFAS in Products: Progress and Challenges webinar. Learn about EPA’s PFAS Strategic Roadmap and a new online tool for EPA’s Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels for Federal Purchasing that highlights how standards and ecolabels address PFAS. Speakers from EPA, EPA grantees, and a nonprofit organization will discuss the progress they’ve made increasing the availability and use of products without PFAS, and the challenges that remain.

This webinar is the third in the Pollution Prevention in Action Webinar Series, which examines key sustainability topics, from reducing or eliminating PFAS in products to source reduction solutions in industrial sectors, and features experts from businesses, nonprofit organizations, government, and academia. Webinars in the series will take place on the second Wednesday of each month through August and will focus on strategies to reduce, eliminate or prevent pollution before it is created.
