Working with Suppliers to Reduce Scope 3 Emissions

Scope 3 emissions, also referred to as value chain emissions, often represent the majority of an organization's total GHG emissions. Increasingly, organizations are setting GHG emissions reduction targets that include their supply chain emissions, thereby linking the success of their suppliers to reduce GHG emissions to their ability to meet ambitious GHG reduction targets. This webinar featured two 2021 Climate Leadership Award winners who discussed how their organizations are working with suppliers to address emissions, challenges they’ve encountered, and best practices for achieving results.

Speakers:

  • Melissa Klein, Lead, Center for Corporate Climate Leadership, U.S. EPA
  • Vanessa Miler, Director, Energy Innovation and Impact, Microsoft
  • Sia Xeros, Director, Environmental Sustainability, Mastercard
