  • EPA Announces Reopening of Comment Period

    On September 2, 2025, EPA announced the reopening of the comment period for the proposed revisions to the compliance deadlines for the coal combustion residual management unit requirements to accommodate an online public hearing. Read more about this reopening and the hearing on our webpage. 

  • EPA Announces Another State Permit Program Proposal

    On August 28, 2025, EPA announced a proposal to approve Wyoming's CCR permit program application. EPA will accept comments on this proposal through November 3, 2025. Read more about this proposal.

  • EPA Grants Extension Request for Arizona Facility

    On March 20, 2025, EPA approved the Salt River Project’s request to extend the deadline to cease using the Coronado Generating Station Evaporation Pond due to grid reliability and resource adequacy concerns.
