2023 Workshop Registration and Logistics

About the Workshop

The 2023 Workshop on SF6 Emission Reductions and Alternatives will be held July 25-26, 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This two-day event will convene public and private stakeholders to discuss best practices, strategies, and technologies available to reduce emissions of SF6 from the electric power sector.

The Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown booking is available at the hotel website. The group rate room block is now closed but rooms can be booked at the prevailing online rate.

Logistics

Local transportation

There are connections from the Salt Lake City airport to downtown via the UTA light rail system "TRAX".  To get to the workshop hotel take the Green Line from the airport and exit at Arena Station, then walk approximately 0.2 miles to the Radisson.

Utah State Holiday

Monday, July 24th (the day before the Workshop) is a Utah State holiday. The TRAX rail system will be operating on its weekend schedule with trains departing from the airport every 30 minutes. In addition, sections of downtown Salt Lake City will be closed off for holiday festivities until 2:00 pm. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.
