Electronics and Associated Services Model Contract Language

To the maximum extent practicable, products and services provided through the contract shall be certified to the following applicable multi-attribute standard/ecolabel.

  • EPEAT Ecolabel

Electronics Recycling Services

Minimum required language:

In accordance with FAR Part 23.1:

To the maximum extent practicable, products and services provided through the contract shall be certified to any of the following applicable single-attribute standards/ecolabels.

  • Electronics Recycling:
    • e-Stewards Standard for Responsible Recycling and Reuse of Electronic Equipment
    • Sustainable Electronics Reuse and Recycling (R2) Standard

Imaging Equipment: Printers, Copiers, Multi-Function Devices, Scanners, Fax Machines, Digital Duplicators, Mailing Machines

This language also applies to print management services contracts since that is often how these products are procured.
