LMOP Webinar: Introduction to Electronic Reporting Exit
Listen to a recording from an LMOP Partner Webinar held on May 31, 2018. This webinar announced and introduced voluntary LMOP Partner data reporting using the e-GGRT system.
As part of joining LMOP, select Partners agree to annually provide LMOP with information about landfill gas energy projects with which the Partner is involved. LMOP has an approved Information Collection Request under which it requests information from its Partners. All Partners are encouraged to respond to our request and report data to LMOP.
LMOP uses the information collected from Partners to populate its Landfill and LFG Energy Project Database (LMOP Database). By responding to the ICR request, Partners are helping to improve the quality and completeness of LMOP’s data, a key resource for the U.S. LFG industry and one of the inputs for the U.S. GHG Inventory. LMOP publishes information about LFG energy projects on its website to demonstrate the good work to reduce methane emissions and generate renewable energy.
It is anticipated that using e-GGRT for data collection will decrease the reporting burden for LMOP Partners by improving efficiency and the rate of response. For those landfills that report to both LMOP and subpart HH, LMOP would continue to implement procedures to avoid any duplication of reported data.
LMOP Partners can access additional resources:
- Posters and Flyers - Design options and example posters and flyers for ribbon-cutting or groundbreaking events.
- PowerPoint Files - Presentation template slides for download and use by Partners presenting about landfill gas energy.
- LMOP Logo - The LMOP logo is available for use by Partners only, within the guidelines.
