  At its Spring 1998 meeting, NDWAC discussed the need to forge better links with the community of doctors, nurses, and other health care providers on drinking water concerns. NDWAC called for the establishment of a Working Group on this topic, not to make specific regulatory recommendations, but to examine from a strategic perspective whether the health care provider community needs to become better educated on drinking water issues, and how such an effort might be structured
