2010 Lead (Pb) Air Monitoring Requirements & 2013 Method for Determination of Lead (Pb) in Total Suspended Particulate Matter Fact Sheets

This page contains a variety of fact sheets and other documents that are supplementary to the 2010 final revisions to lead (Pb) ambient air monitoring requirements and the 2013 final method for determination of lead (Pb) in total suspended particulate matter.

For more information on the rules, visit the Final Method for the Determination of Lead (Pb) in Total Suspended Particulate Matter (pdf) (321 KB) rule, the Final Revisions to Lead (Pb) Ambient Air Monitoring Requirements (pdf) (204 KB) rule, or the 2008 Lead (Pb) NAAQS page.

  • Final Method for the Determination of Lead in Total Suspended Matter (TSM) Fact Sheet (pdf) (25.52 KB, June 26, 2013)
EPA issued a final rule establishing a new Federal Reference Method for state and local air monitoring agencies to use as one of the approved methods for measuring lead (Pb) in total suspended particulate matter (TSP).
  • Revisions to Lead (Pb) Ambient Air Monitoring Requirements Fact Sheet (pdf) (77.94 KB, December 10, 2010)
EPA made final revisions to the ambient monitoring requirements for measuring lead in the air. These amendments expand the nation's lead monitoring network to better assess compliance with the 2008 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for lead.
